Loretta Lenko will serve as president of exchange for AmeriHealth Caritas Next, which launched in October 2021, AmeriHealth Caritas said June 9. Her responsibilities will include guiding the business’ expansion into new markets.
Ms. Lenko spent nearly 13 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, including 10 in leadership roles with the payer’s individual business unit, according to a news release from AmeriHealth Caritas. Her responsibilities included developing the company’s future health insurance products and working with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s office of healthcare reform.
