AllWays Health Partners will change its name to Mass General Brigham Health Plan, effective Jan. 1.
The move will be supported by a value-based care model to improve outcomes, reduce costs, address health equity and social determinants of health, and provide more flexibility around where care is delivered, according to a June 29 news release.
The Somerville, Mass.-based nonprofit payer became a part of Boston-based Mass General Brigham in 2012. It offers commercial plans and manages a Medicaid ACO.
The rebranding "reflects Mass General Brigham's vision for a unified, world-class academic healthcare system and fosters collaborative innovation that can simultaneously lower costs and improve care."
