Alignment Healthcare's overall losses are continuing to improve as the Medicare Advantage provider adds members and offerings.
The company's net loss for the third quarter of 2022 was $40.2 million, down from $45.8 million in 2021.
Membership in Alignment Healthcare's Medicare Advantage plan is up 14 percent year over year, reaching 98,000 members, the company said.
In June, the Orange, Calif.-based company said it would expand its Medicare Advantage plans to Florida and Texas for 2023.
Its North Carolina plan received a five-star quality rating from CMS in its first year of operation.
"Alignment Healthcare's solid performance in the third quarter is a testament to the repeatability and scalability of our operating model," CEO John Kao said in a news release.
