AHIP adds 7 members

Seven health insurers joined America’s Health Insurance Plans, the trade association said Jan. 22.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order:

1. Bright Health (individual, family and Medicare Advantage plans)
2. CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (plans serving 3.2 million members in Maryland, the District of Columbia and northern Virginia)
3. Central States Health and Life Company of Omaha (Medicare Supplement plans)
4. Fidelity (health savings account administration)
5. First Medical Health Plan (employer-provided and individual coverage, Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program and dual-eligible plans)
6. Inland Empire Health Plan (Medi-Cal and Medicare plans)
7. National Guardian Life (student health insurance, group and individual health coverage, dental, vision, Medicare Supplement, long term care, and specialty products)
