Aetna partners with Emory, Northside in Atlanta to boost insurance offerings

Aetna is expanding its health insurance offerings in the Atlanta area by partnering with two Atlanta-based health systems, Emory Healthcare and Northside Hospital System.

Aetna will now offer fully insured and self-insured network options to its health maintenance organization and exclusive product organization product portfolios through Aetna Whole Health Atlanta. 

Starting April 1, the two health systems will offer Aetna Whole Health Atlanta members access to about 900 primary care physicians, 3,500 specialists, 14 hospitals and more than 500 outpatient care facilities in the Atlanta area.
