62 payers participating in CMS' value-based insurance design model in 2025

CMS has announced the 62 organizations participating in the Medicare Advantage Value-Based Insurance Design model in 2025.

Insurers across 48 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico, will test the model through 967 plan benefit packages. The plans are required to address health equity issues by offering benefits that target enrollees' health-related social needs and disparities, with a focus on underserved areas.
