6 recent payer partnerships

From multiple collaborations around addiction treatment services to creative member outreach strategies, these are six recently inked partnerships with payers:

UnitedHealth Group and Walmart said Sept. 7 they are partnering around a value-based care model for Medicare Advantage members and a co-branded MA health plan starting next year at 15 Walmart Health centers in Florida and Georgia.

Health Partners Plans, a managed care organization in Philadelphia, is partnering with Fabric Health to conduct member outreach and care management at five laundromats in the city.

PopHealthCare and its value-based medical group Emcara Health said Aug. 29 they are partnering with the nonprofit Martin's Point to deliver health assessments and risk adjustment services for more than 58,000 Medicare Advantage members in Maine and New Hampshire.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts said Aug. 25 it is collaborating with value-based primary care company VillageMD to expand primary care offerings in the state.

Cigna's Evernorth said Aug. 25 it is partnering with Bicycle Health to offer virtual opioid use disorder treatments. Bicycle Health's services are now part of Evernorth's behavioral health network and are available to Cigna's commercial and ACA plan members.

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia and behavioral telehealth provider Confidant Health said Aug. 17 they are partnering to offer BCBS members access to virtual addiction treatment services.
