The analysis reflects the findings of an online omnibus survey from March 15 to March 16. Data comprised 905 adults nationwide who worked at a company with at least two employees.
Anthem found 53 percent of adults ages 18 and 34 agree they understand the coverage their life insurance plan entails. This compares to 69 percent of adults age 55 and older.
“It’s possible that millennials don’t consider life insurance to be as important a benefit, because they don’t fully understand it,” the insurer stated.
