Priority Health closes on purchase of Indiana payer

Priority Health has closed on its purchase Physicians Health Plan of Northern Indiana, a Fort Wayne-based payer with more than 50,000 members in Indiana and Ohio.

The acquisition was first announced in June. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed in a Dec. 3 news release.

Priority Health, the payer arm of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Corewell Health, serves more than 1.3 million members across commercial, Medicare and Medicaid plans.
