Centene completed the sale of its U.K. companies.
Its sale of Operose Health Group was completed in December and its sale of Circle Health Group was completed in January, according to the company's earnings report published Feb. 6.
Centene announced both deals in August. Circle Health Group, one of the U.K.'s largest independent hospital operators, was sold to Pure Health, the largest integrated healthcare network in the Middle East, for $1.2 billion.
Operose Health, a chain of 60 clinics, was sold to U.K.-based HCRG Care Group, according to a Dec. 6 report from Pulse.
Centene CEO Sarah London has overseen the divestiture of several non-core businesses since taking over the role in March 2022. She told Fortune in June that the businesses that have been sold were keeping Centene from being as efficient as it could be.
