Integra manages care plans for over 40,000 Medicaid members with long-term care needs and disabilities so they can live independently in their homes. The company operates in the five boroughs of New York City and Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, according to a May 5 press release.

Integra associates have joined Anthem’s government business division. The deal was first announced in November and closed a few months earlier than expected.

“We’re pleased to complete this acquisition and work alongside our new colleagues as we continue to grow our Medicaid business and enhance the healthcare experience for all of our members,” Felicia Norwood, executive vice president of Anthem’s government business division, said.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
