Question: What’s your team’s biggest win so far in 2025?

Hillary Galyean. Chief Growth Officer, St. Luke’s Health Plan (Boise, Idaho): I couldn’t be prouder to be part of the driven, passionate team at St. Luke’s. Since December 31, 2024, our membership has grown 525%! We’ve already surpassed our year-end goals by 5%—with more growth ahead.

What makes me most proud isn’t just the numbers—it’s how our team has rallied together during this rapid growth, continuing to deliver for clients and broker partners with consistency and care. Rapid growth like this requires an agile, resilient, and collaborative team that tackles challenges head-on—without sugarcoating—while respecting the expertise of each department. This is exactly what our team excels at, keeping us moving forward with strength and unity.

I’m grateful every day to be part of an integrated team that’s transforming healthcare—leaving behind siloed systems and building a stronger, more connected experience based on trust and long-term solutions.

Nishant Anand, MD. President and CEO, Altais (San Francisco): Our biggest win in 2025 has been advancing a culture grounded in the idea that if we get 1% better every day, we can achieve transformational change — not just culturally, but clinically and operationally. That mindset has driven the successful rollout of advanced primary care and meaningful improvements to our clinical models, including palliative care. We’ve also deployed AI to reduce administrative burden for physicians and help our utilization management teams make faster, smarter decisions. As a result, we’re seeing utilization performance at or near well-managed benchmarks — a reflection of what’s possible when teams stay focused, adaptive, and mission-aligned.

Dorothy Seleski. Medi-Cal President, Health Net, a Centene Corporation company (Sacramento, Calif.): One of our proudest achievements this year is witnessing the tangible and measurable impact our outreach efforts are having on members’ lives.

What makes this work powerful is its simplicity: we meet people where they are and, using community health workers who are their friends and neighbors, connect them with resources that go beyond today’s needs, reflecting CalAIM, California’s broad transformation of our Medicaid program.

This year alone, more than 12,500 Health Net members have been connected to vital resources through our Community Health Worker program empowering individuals and families to better manage their health. Notably, 42% of those served were under the age of 21, supporting children, teens, and young adults at pivotal stages of their lives.

For us, the true measure of success is seeing members feel supported, uplifted, and less alone on their journey. That’s the heart of why we do this work—and why we show up every day with purpose, passion, and gratitude.

Krischa Winright. President, Medicare Advantage, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (Detroit): As a Medicare Advantage health plan, we’re driven to provide outstanding service and access to affordable, high-quality care to the seniors we serve. Our members’ feedback is the true measure of our success, which is why being recognized by J.D. Power as the No. 1 Medicare Advantage plan in Michigan for customer satisfaction is a significant achievement that holds great meaning for us. I’m proud of our teams’ efforts in offering affordable healthcare options, providing digital services through our website and mobile app and expanding virtual care options that meet seniors’ evolving needs and preferences. By putting our members’ needs first and strengthening partnerships with healthcare providers, we have been able to continue to deliver exceptional care to those we serve.

Harlon Pickett. President, Eagle Care Health Solutions (Houston): One of our biggest wins this year has been the successful redesign of several new client’s benefit plans to remove financial barriers to primary care and mental health care. This was achieved by eliminating deductibles for high-value services and guiding employees toward high-quality providers, we’ve seen stronger engagement and earlier interventions. Employers are seeing the payoff not only in reduced long-term costs, but also in improved workforce health and retention.

Ty Wang. Co-Founder and CEO, Angle Health (San Francisco): Evidenced by Angle Health’s phenomenal off-cycle growth and industry-leading metrics across loss ratios, retention and renewal rates, and customer satisfaction, the biggest win for our team in 2025 so far has been the meaningful outcomes we are now delivering on a daily basis to our customers. That includes greater access to affordable, personalized healthcare for consumers, stable and predictable renewals for employers, and operating leverage for brokers and agencies. These outcomes and experiences are made possible by Angle Health’s proprietary AI and machine-learning capabilities, the human-in-the-loop workflows that they power, and the product, engineering, and operations teams that utilize them.

Jennifer St. Thomas. Senior Vice President, Commercial and Medicare Markets, Mass General Brigham Health Plan (Somerville, Mass.): Some of our biggest accomplishments this year have been the contributions of our dedicated workforce. As a leader, it is incredibly gratifying to see these individuals and teams working to improve processes, find new ways to support our members, and go that extra mile to make a difference for the member experience. These contributions—however small—make a big impact in delivering exceptional healthcare experiences and fostering a culture where employees thrive at Mass General Brigham Health Plan.

Aleata Postell. Senior Vice President, Pharmacy Business Development, CenterWell Pharmacy (Louisville, Ky.): CenterWell Pharmacy has taken significant steps forward in 2025 by developing innovative pharmacy solutions that improve access to and the affordability of high-demand medications like GLP-1s. Earlier this year, Novo Nordisk engaged CenterWell Pharmacy as its fulfillment partner for NovoCare® Pharmacy. Telehealth companies Weight Watchers, LifeMD and Ro are working directly through NovoCare® Pharmacy to offer a simplified pathway for self-paying patients seeking access to authentic, FDA-approved Wegovy®. Under the arrangement, CenterWell is helping consumers benefit from reduced cost and convenient access to safe and effective brand-name medications.

CenterWell Pharmacy has developed a reputation for quality and accuracy. CenterWell is a seven-time Specialty Pharmacy Patient Choice award winner for best-in-class customer satisfaction and commitment to patient care. CenterWell Pharmacy is also well positioned to scale such programs, with the agility to meet the needs of this burgeoning market, which includes employer options. CenterWell Pharmacy has made significant technical and digital investments, as well as created a model that can be replicated across various therapies as the direct-to-consumer and direct-to-employer markets continue to grow.

Allison Hofmann. Vice President of Health Systems, Cigna Healthcare (Bloomfield, Conn.): We are very excited that a leading academic medical center and university has recently selected Cigna Healthcare as its new health benefits partner, drawn to the company’s innovative, personalized solutions and collaborative approach. After decades with other carriers, the organization sought a forward-thinking partner capable of delivering integrated data insights and customized care management. Cigna Healthcare and Express Scripts stood out for their shared commitment to transformation, patient support, and high-touch service. The partnership also highlights the strength of The Cigna Group, demonstrated through immersive experiences and unified efforts to meet the institution’s unique needs.  Cigna Healthcare is thrilled to continue to support health systems across the country.

Bret Voith. Chief Strategy Officer, NCD (Dallas, Texas): Our biggest win of the year has been the launch of NCD AccidentPrime, a new Accident Medical Expense (AME) insurance solution designed to provide groups, individuals and families reliable financial protection when accidents disrupt everyday life. The launch of the NCD AccidentPrime poduct line took over 18 months of close planning across every function at NCD as well as close collaboration with our partners at Zurich American Insurance Company, and represents a key milestone in NCD’s transition from its founding with an exclusive focus on dental and vision offerings to today having a comprehensive suite of supplemental and ancillary health insurance solutions. Further, the launch of NCD AccidentPrime extends our mission of driving better health and providing exceptional experiences by giving members a key safety they can count on, without the hassle of deductibles or complex reimbursement rules, particularly for those individuals with high-deductible and ACA plans.
