UnitedHealthcare’s Texas CEO to depart

UnitedHealthcare of Texas CEO, Scott Flannery, is retiring after 26 years with the company.

Mr. Flannery has served as CEO of the market, which also covers Oklahoma, since 2022. He first joined the company in 1999.

In a Sept. 16 Linkedin post, he said Dennis Ellis has been promoted to CEO of the North Texas and Oklahoma market, while Charles Carter will continue as CEO of South and Central Texas for the commercial business.
