UnitedHealth taps senior vice president of market strategy and intelligence

Joshua Raskin will join UnitedHealth Group June 1 as senior vice president of market strategy and intelligence, the company confirmed to Becker’s April 23. 

Mr. Raskin will inform UnitedHealth’s long-term growth strategy, leveraging market insight, analytics, capital markets viewpoints and competitive intelligence.

Mr. Raskin comes from healthcare investment research firm Nephron Research, which he co-founded in 2017. He also worked as a managing director at Lehman Brothers and Barclays, according to his LinkedIn page. Across his experiences, Mr. Raskin is known for his use of technology and AI to extract market data and insights, UnitedHealth said.
