UnitedHealth Group has named Sandeep Dadlani executive vice president and chief digital and technology officer at Optum.
"UHG has an incredibly powerful mission: to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone," Mr. Dadlani wrote in a Sept. 20 LinkedIn post. "I mean, show me a more powerful cause to get behind!!"
Previously, he was chief digital officer at McLean, Va.-based food products manufacturer Mars and held several leadership roles at India-based IT consulting firm Infosys.
