Dr. Meltzer will lead Regence’s healthcare affordability, quality, service and access initiatives for members through engagement with employers and providers throughout the state, according to a June 16 news release.
He was previously chief medical officer and senior vice president of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Matrix Medical Network. Before that, he was chief of the emergency medicine department and chair of the emergency medicine residency program for Kaiser Permanente in San Diego.
