Regence BCBS Utah names executive medical director

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah has named Anthony Dowidowicz, MD, as executive medical director.

Dr. Dowidowicz will lead the implementation of clinical strategies and collaborate with employers on benefit strategies and management, according to a May 1 news release.

Previously, he served as strategic medical director for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.
