Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has named Michael Cole as market president, effective Sept. 8.
Mr. Cole will oversee strategy and growth for the health plan serving nearly 1 million individuals, according to an Aug. 29 news release.
Previously, he was president of Aetna’s North Atlantic territory, which includes New England, New York/New Jersey, Keystone and Capitol markets. He was also formerly president of the Aetna Keystone market, which includes Pennsylvania, Delaware and West Virginia.
