Providence Health Plan has named Louis Flocco as its new chief of underwriting.
Mr. Flocco will lead underwriting framework changes for the pricing of new products and markets, along with ensuring business results and operational effectiveness through strategy and growth plans, according to a Dec. 4 news release.
He previously was vice president of underwriting at UnitedHealthcare and held leadership roles at HealthAmerica, Aetna and Independence Blue Cross before that.
