The COO of Oscar Health is resigning April 10, according to a March 7 Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Meghan Joyce, who serves as the COO of the New York City-based health insurer and executive vice president of the +Oscar platform, is leaving to become the chief executive of a new venture.
When Ms. Joyce departs, employees working on the +Oscar technology platform will report to Oscar co-founder and CEO Mario Schlosser. Alessandrea Quane, executive vice president and chief insurance officer, will assume oversight of the insurance operations.
Despite her departure, Ms. Joyce inked a two-year consulting agreement with Oscar Health. She will serve as a senior adviser, effective April 10, and receive a monthly consulting fee of $8,333.
