Oscar Health Chief Transformation Officer R. Scott Blackley will return to the CFO role, effective Aug. 14.
According to an Aug. 8 news release, current interim CFO Sid Sankaran will step down Aug. 13. Mr. Blackley previously held the CFO position from September 2021 to December 2022.
Mr. Sankaran will remain a member of the company's board of directors, according to the release. In May, Hong Kong-based FWD Group, a life insurance company, named Mr. Sankaran as its next CFO, effective Sept. 1.
The shuffle comes after several changes in Oscar's executive lineup. Former Aetna CEO Mark Bertolini took over as CEO on April 1. Mario Schlosser, a co-founder of the insurtech company and its previous CEO, is now president of technology at Oscar.
