According to a Dec. 7 news release, Mr. Gassen has served as CEO of the Sioux Falls, S.D.-based health system since November 2020.
The payer also appointed Laura Lang, managing director of strategic advisory firm Narragansett Ventures, to the board.
Ms. Lang was CEO of marketing agency Digitas from 2008 to 2012 and CEO of media company Time from 2012 to 2013.
