Missouri’s Medicaid director Todd Richardson is stepping down from his position at the end of October, the Missouri Independent reported Sept. 30.
Mr. Richardson has led the state’s Medicaid program, MO HealthNet, for the past seven years, according to the report.
An interim director is expected to be selected by mid-October, according to the report.
As of Aug. 31, there are 1.3 million Missouri residents enrolled in Medicaid.
