MetroPlusHealth promoted Lila Benayoun to chief operating officer, the insurer said Sept. 21.
Ms. Benayoun has served as the company's deputy chief operating officer since 2021, according to a news release.
MetroPlusHealth is a municipally owned nonprofit insurer that provides low- or no-cost insurance to 675,000 people in New York City.
"I am honored to support the plan's mission of providing affordable, inclusive, person-centered, quality-driven care," Ms. Benayoun said in the news release. "I am committed to delivering top-notch operational and service excellence that would allow us to continue to improve the lives and communities of the many New Yorkers we serve."
