Ms. Erickson joined Medica in April 2023 as its CFO, according to her LinkedIn profile. She succeeds John Naylor, who announced he would step down as CEO in July. Ms. Erickson’s appointment is effective immediately, according to a Nov. 1 release from Medica.
Before joining Medica, Ms. Erickson spent five years at Optum as senior vice president of industry and network relations and CFO of OptumInsight. She also held senior roles at Best Buy.
Minnetonka, Minn.-based Medica offers Medicaid, Medicare, employer-sponsored and individual insurance in 12 states.
