Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health appointed Michael Treash as the president of its insurance business, Health New England, according to an Oct. 6 news release.
Mr. Treash just served as the chief operating officer and senior vice president of Detroit-based Henry Ford Health’s health insurance company, Health Alliance Plan. He brings over 30 years of experience in provider-based plans to Health New England.
In his new role, Mr. Treash will focus on strategic growth, provider relations and all other Health New England business functions.
