Longtime Cigna executive retires

Chris DeRosa, Cigna’s Executive Vice President of Business Improvement and Innovation, retired after more than two decades in leadership positions with the company. 

Mr. DeRosa had served in his most recent role since March and previously served as president of Cigna Healthcare’s U.S government business. 

Cigna also announced in a Nov. 6 news release that Chief Digital and Analytics Officer Katya Anderson will take on the company’s excellence and transformation initiatives, and that Amy Flaster, MD, has been promoted to chief medical officer.
