Indiana Medicaid director to resign; successor named

Indiana Medicaid Director Allison Taylor is resigning later this summer after six years in the role, the Indiana Capital Chronicle reported June 20.

Cora Steinmetz has been named Ms. Taylor’s successor, according to the report. Ms. Steinmetz has served as Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s senior operations director for health-related state agencies since 2021. 

Ms. Taylor’s last day has not yet been set, according to the report. She served as the National Association of Medicaid Directors’ president in 2022.
