Independence Blue Cross has named Joe Geist as senior vice president and president of national markets.
According to a Jan. 18 news release, Mr. Geist was most recently vice president and chief client officer for national accounts at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. He has also held roles at Collective Health and Aetna.
Mr. Geist will lead sales and retention for Independence Blue Cross’ national and large group clients, according to the release.
