Humana Chief Accounting Officer Michael Koeberlein retiring in August

Humana's senior vice president, chief accounting officer and controller Michael Koeberlein is retiring Aug. 1, the Louisville Business Journal reported June 21. 

He will be succeeded by John-Paul Felter, who most recently served as senior director of investment finance at Indianapolis-based OneAmerica Financial Partners, according to the report. Humana’s board of directors elected Mr. Felter June 16.

Humana announced Mr. Koeberlein's retirement in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission June 21, according to the report. The filing states he is retiring for personal health reasons.  

Mr. Koeberlein has worked at Humana since 1999. He has served in his current role since March 31 and most recently served as vice president of financial reporting and accounting policy.
