Hometown Health CEO to retire, replacement named

Hometown Health CEO David Hansen is retiring Oct. 7 and will be replaced by Bethany Sexton, effective Sept. 12.

Hometown, a part of Reno, Nev.-based Renown Health, is the state's largest nonprofit health plan, serving more than 100,000 members.

During his tenure, Mr. Hansen led the addition of 82 new provider groups and helped grow the payer's Medicare Advantage membership and ACA marketplace offerings, according to an Aug. 31 news release shared with Becker's.

Ms. Sexton has been with Renown for nine years and  currently serves as chief transformation officer, where she leads value-based care delivery and contracting.
