Health Net’s chief health equity officer to depart

Pooja Mittal, DO, chief health equity officer at Centene’s Health Net, is leaving her role, according to a May LinkedIn post.

Dr. Mittal said she has spent nearly a decade at Health Net and four years as chief health equity officer. Her work centered on community supports, food security, housing, maternal health and culturally responsive care. Dr. Mittal also has experience in academic settings and a federally qualified health center, according to her LinkedIn profile.

She did not disclose her next opportunity but said she “look[s] forward to sharing what comes next.”
