Health Alliance Plan names interim president

Health Alliance Plan has named Margaret Anderson as interim president.

Michael Genord, MD, the former president and CEO, has left the organization, according to a Nov. 11 news release. 

Ms. Anderson is senior vice president, chief sales and marketing officer at Health Alliance Plan. She joined the health plan in 2018, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Health Alliance Plan is owned by Detroit-based Henry Ford Health. 

“I am confident that Margaret will do an exceptional job in advancing our commitment to value-based care, leading our best-in-class team at HAP, and continuing to always put the health and wellbeing of our members first,” Henry Ford Health CEO Bob Riney said in the release.
