Milwaukee-based Children’s Wisconsin named Bill Hanna as president of its affiliated insurer, Chorus Community Health Plans, Sept. 28.
Mr. Hanna will oversee the direction and strategies for CCHP, which offers Medicaid coverage through the state’s BadgerCare Plus program. He will work with health system leaders on addressing social determinants of health and fostering integrated care, too.
“CCHP’s connection to Children’s Wisconsin is its greatest strength,” he said in the news release. “I look forward to advancing the work already underway to bring the plan and the health system closer together.”
Most recently, Mr. Hanna was the payer strategy and program design practice director at healthcare research firm ATI Advisory. Beforehand, he served as Wisconsin’s Medicaid director and held leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare.
CCHP has more than 100,000 members in BadgerCare Plus, as well as almost 3,000 youth in foster care with the Care4Kids program.
