Former UnitedHealth Group CEO joins Vytalize Health board

Vytalize Health, a value-based care company that provides analytics and recommendations to primary care providers, has added two members to its board of directors, including former UnitedHealth Group CEO Dave Wichmann.

Joining Mr. Wichmann on the board is Amy Compton-Phillips, MD, Press Ganey’s president and chief clinical officer, according to a July 10 Vytalize news release. 

Mr. Wichmann retired from UnitedHealth Group in 2021 after serving as CEO since 2017. He is the co-founder of Jory Capital, a private equity fund. 

Dr. Compton-Phillips previously served as Renton, Wash.-based Providence’s president of clinical operations.
