Bright Health said May 3 that Ms. Smith was stepping down to pursue another opportunity. Nordstrom announced her hiring in a May 10 news release.
Ms. Smith joined the insurtech company in January 2020 after serving as CFO of Target.
Bright Health named Jay Matushak as Ms. Smith’s replacement, effective May 12. He most recently served as the company’s senior vice president of finance.
