Flume Health, a digital platform startup for health plan administration, named Richard Fu chief growth officer.
Mr. Fu previously served as chief strategy officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City. He will be responsible for the New York City-based company's expansion into areas that include the commercial self-funded market, according to a June 1 news release.
Flume also promoted Casey Hancock to senior vice president of engineering and Grant Parker to vice president of sales.
In March, the company raised $30 million in series A funding, which was led by Optum Ventures and included Cigna Ventures, the investment arms of UnitedHealth Group's Optum and Cigna, respectively.
