Mr. Lee replaces previous West Market President David Pizzo, who died in February, according to an April 11 news release.
As west market president, Mr. Lee will oversee business in 14 Florida counties, including the Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas. He joined Florida Blue in 2007 and has held multiple leadership positions, including chief of staff to CEO Pat Geraghty.
Florida Blue has more than 5 million members.
