Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield has appointed three employees to senior vice president roles.
According to a Jan. 5 news release, Mona Chitre, PharmD, has been appointed president of pharmacy solutions, in addition to her existing role as chief pharmacy officer. Dr. Chitre joined Excellus BCBS in 2000.
Lisa Harris, MD, has been appointed senior vice president and corporate medical director. She was previously vice president of medical affairs for commercial lines of business at Excellus.
The payer also appointed Tony Vitagliano to senior vice president, provider network engagement. Mr. Vitagliano has been with Excellus since 1993, most recently as vice president, provider network management and operation.
