Ms. Winn has been with Elevance since 2020. Before that, she was SVP and chief strategy and innovation officer at BCBS North Carolina.

“Making whole health possible has long been my professional passion and I can think of no better place to drive meaningful, measurable impact for individuals and communities than this,” she wrote on LinkedIn in June. “With a potential reach of 1 in 3 Americans, leading this world-class organization is an awesome responsibility/privilege, and I can’t wait to get to work.”

Carelon was launched in 2022 when Anthem rebranded to Elevance Health, consolidating the company’s portfolio of noninsurance capabilities and services under a single name.
