Elevance Health has named new presidents for its Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Indiana and Georgia.
Amanda Free will lead Anthem BCBS of Georgia after most recently serving as vice president of local operations for the plan’s commercial health benefits division. Before joining Anthem, she held leadership roles at Humana, including market vice president for Georgia and Louisiana’s employer group business. Ms. Free succeeds Robert Bunch, who transitioned to a new role leading Anthem’s East Region commercial business and its specialty business unit.
Jessica Lopez-Liggett has been named commercial state plan president of Anthem BCBS in Indiana after most recently serving as regional vice president of sales. She succeeds Beth Keyser, who now serves as west region commercial president for the company.
