Commonwealth Care Alliance names general counsel, SVP of public affairs

Commonwealth Care Alliance has appointed Elizabeth Gianini as senior vice president of public affairs and David Weader as senior vice president and general counsel.

According to a May 25 news release shared with Becker’s, Ms. Gianini most recently led government affairs for dental insurer DentaQuest. She also held government affairs roles at Centene subsidiary WellCare. 

Mr. Weader was most recently associate chief legal officer for Geisinger Health Plan.
