Clover Health names new CFO

Franklin, Tenn.-based Clover Health has named Scott Leffler CFO, effective in August.

Mr. Leffler was previously CFO and treasurer of Broadview Heights, Ohio-based Sotera Health, where he oversaw the company’s global finance, procurement and IT organizations, according to a May 25 press release.

Before joining Sotera, Mr. Leffler served as CFO and treasurer at Youngstown, Ohio-based Exal Corp. (now Trivium Aluminum Packaging) and in executive finance roles at Avon Lake, Ohio-based PolyOne Corp. (now Avient).

“Scott has a sterling reputation as a finance leader for innovative public organizations in complex industries,” CEO Vivek Garipalli said. “I’m incredibly impressed by his experience leading growth companies, as well as his transformational work in previous roles, and am very confident that he will be an amazing asset to Clover as we continue to progress toward our mission to improve every life.”
