Centene's Chief Operating Officer, James Murray, is retiring in 2024, according to documents filed May 22 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Murray will support the transition of his responsibilities to other leaders within the company. He will report to CEO Sarah London for the remainder of his tenure and focus primarily on growing the company's Medicare business.
At Centene, Mr. Murray previously served as chief transformation officer, where he oversaw the company's value creation office. He has also served as president and COO of Magellan Health.
