Centene appoints former American Airlines CIO to board of directors

Centene named Monte Ford, former CIO at American Airlines, to the company’s board of directors.

According to a Nov. 16 news release, Mr. Ford is currently principal partner for the Chief Information Officer Strategy Exchange.

Mr. Ford has also served as CEO of software developer Aptean and CIO for Associates First Capital. 

He currently serves on the boards of JetBlue Airways, Iron Mountain and Akamai Technologies, according to the release. He was recently on the board of Health Care Service Corporation.
