According to a June 22 news release, Mr. Rains was Cambia’s vice president of strategic finance from 2012 to 2014.
Mr. Rains held several senior financial roles at Elevance Health. He succeeds Cambia’s current CFO, Vince Price, who plans to retire, according to the news release.
Cambia Health Solutions is the parent company of Regence, which operates Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates in Oregon, Washington, Utah and Idaho.
