Covered California, the state’s ACA exchange, has named Monica Soni, MD, as its new chief medical officer.
She will be responsible for health equity, care strategy, medical policy, medical management and other clinical operations, according to an April 13 news release.
Dr. Soni previously served as associate chief medical officer at Brea, Calif.-based New Century Health.
