Bright Health Group announced March 1 that Matt Manders, former president of Cigna's government and solutions arm, has joined its board of directors.
Mr. Manders, who had a 30-year tenure with Cigna, led its U.S. government market, including Medicaid, Medicare and individual offerings.

Mr. Manders' appointment is effective immediately and brings the payer's board to 12 members, 10 of whom are independent.
