Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan has promoted Jennifer Schirmer to vice president of growth for Medi-Cal.
Ms. Schirmer joined Blue Shield in 2020 as senior director of Medi-Cal operations, according to a Feb. 14 LinkedIn post from Promise Health Plan President and CEO Kristen Cerf.
“I am confident that she not only brings the leadership and experience that we need for this role with her background in operations and market growth, but also the energy, influence, and passion for Medi-Cal,” Ms. Cerf wrote.
