According to a May 1 news release, Mr. Ramachandran was most recently senior vice president of Illinois healthcare delivery at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Mr. Ramachandran will be focused on improving healthcare quality and equity at Blue Shield of California, according to the release.
